Well opening a massage practice is proving to be harder than expected here. I got approved by our German town immediately. The Army took almost 8 weeks. Then with all my approvals in hand I tried to renew my malpractice insurance only to be told after going back and forth with them for a week that they will not cover me because I am physically in Germany not on post. Soooo then I called USAA. They wont insure me either, they will only insure me if I am in the US. SO then I found an insurance company out of the UK. Problem is although its business hours in the states, hence me being up now to try to straighten this and many other things out, it is not business hours in the UK so I will have to wait till tomorrow to call them. All of this mind you is super easy back home. I think it took me a day to set up my massage practice and that included a trip downtown to the State Corporations Commission. I just have to keep reminding myself to take it one step at a time. Ugh.
