Well poor John Alan Wareing woke up to a shock this morning, blood everywhere in the conservatory from Loki, took her to the vets and really didnt think I would be bringing her back, her stomach is raw, shes in a lot of pain and her intestines are like mush, luckily shes been drinking plenty so not dehydrated,was dreading them keeping her in, 4 small meals a day and shes had a painkiller injection and was so brave, every day in her life I feel proud of her, from whats shes been through and to where she has come. As many of you know Loki was kept in a shed for possibly 3 to 4 yrs of her life and used and abused for breeding, she bit the breeder on the day he put rope round her neck and shoved her in the boot of his car to meet the rescuer, well all I can say is , Loki you showed more restraint than what I would have done ! Because of her past it hasnt been easy to get that closeness that you get from a so called normal dog,a lot of her behaviour we just have to manage, however the bond we do share is second to none, she has taught me so much and she is a massive part of my life and the sad thing is the closeness comes at times like this when shes ill. She suffers with pancreatitis and Im hoping this is what it is, back to the vets tomorrow morning, until then I will be right by her side
