I think it is vital and important not to nit pick what does it matter if is a person says go vegan?I am nearly seventy and have been a vegan all my life, and I have a large network in the art world, in counseling and teaching, and what I have seen with people that have made the decision to be vegan and live as a vegan, they suffer a great deal of trauma and depression in continually confronting our world acceptance of brutal violence to gentle earthlings. Surely there are real issues for us to address as a community, rather than it might be too pushy to say go vegan, I wonder what the earthlings in these hells and slaughter house would say? Professionally and personally people need to receive support and be encouraged to remain true to how they need and want to address, this very traumatic and bloody industry. Vegans are a hard working group and I for one, encourage people to say go vegan It is a critical situation for the animals I for one in my interactions with others, in my work, network an friends do say dont be selfish and go vegan and many have, and those that do not, have told me I have absolute admiration for your principles and raw courageand I am not going to play miss Poly Anna to accommodate the feelings of anyone that lives in a comfortable world, billions of animals do not live in this comfort. We really must be careful not be superficial and pass judgements on how others in our community how they desire to get their message to others, or how they deal with these brutal ways of these hell industries daily. I am an activist, all my life, in vital reforms, and liberation, travelled to Latin America, when the war was happening to relocate refugees, have given many workshops freely to those that want to learn why they need togo vegan assisted young women from disadvantaged backgrounds , have offered financial assistance for the past 26 years financial assistance to young women who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, as I also have offered this group for animal liberation and protection $720.00 of my art, and therefore you can understand how I was upset by these comments against our own. Allow people to be themselves, and dont judge how others need and desire to deal with these issues in their lives. I wonder what you would have thought of Chiko Mendez he saved the Brazilian Rainforest and he would always say no compromise I met his children, and they miss their father, as he was killed for his principles, and they remember their father as a man that did not compromise I wonder what you have thought of Dian Fossey, read her journals years ago, and she did not accomodate the lives of the gorillas she saved, nor her principles to save them, so that she did not offend those that hunted and killed them. As you can see I have been heart upset about this, and have no desire to enter into an argument with anyone, or to be convinced not to say go vegan Those that run these blood industries and those that support them, do well in life, I am not concerned that I am going to be thought of as too pushy, I dont see myself as a nice little woman I am an activist, those that are caught up in this industry do not do well at all, other species are not doing well at all, our Earth is not doing well at all, so I say GO VEGAN
