Well, so many words, so many if ,buts and maybes. My head is in a whirl but my interpretation is - he has acute pneumonia possibly caused by inhalation of a titbit. (Only Stuart!!) He has had xrays and ct scan, there is a portion of his lung that will never recover, but the rest may compensate, he is staying in over the weekend for antibiotic therapy and hydration. Monday he will probably come home and will be further assessed to see if its working. Surgery is still an option to remove the damage but they are going to try without in case of further complications. He is still well in those woods but hopefully heading in the right direction. I am completely incapable of talking to anyone. Thank you so much Jackie for coming with me to absorb and translate facts that washed away from me. I really hope that all this is positive and he will be fine in 6mths time, but they didnt give me any guarantees.
