Well thats it folks! Last shift as a full time midwife done! Feeling pretty emotional! Just want to say a massive thankyou to all at ESH for your generosity and the lovely gifts and flowers, cards and messages. I know I havent always seen eye to eye with you all at various points throughout the years but you are a group of wonderful individuals and brilliant at what you do, its been a pleasure to work with each one of you and for some of you its been my pleasure to teach you the art of this privileged profession we are all part of! My memories of maternity are fond ones not only of the lives I have touched caring for our women but also of you all that work so tirelessly to make the maternity service something to be proud of! Keep doing what you do ladies because you do it so well youre a great team and Im honoured to call you colleagues and more importantly my friends! Love to you all xxx Enough of the gushy stuff now as most of you know I will be coming back to crack the whip from time to time on the bank so you dont get completely shot of me!!! Gutted!!! Xxx
