Well thats our jaunt in Spain coming to an end. The apartment was finished Tuesday so had Wed and Thurs to relax.... well decided relaxing is for wimps so decided to do some serious walking. Yesterday an ascent to the top of penyal difach (The Rock of Calpe) at a mere 332 m and a rock scramble to the summit I was un-daunted Once done I set my sights higher so today decided to ascent Montgo Mountain (The Elephant mountain and Spains 2nd highest mountain at 752 m) a two hour ascent with a big half hour rock scramble to reach the summit! Breathtaking views from both summits, and something I have wanted to do for 8 years.
