Well, the way I see it is we are going to have a much more complicated mess on our hands as this war on radical Islam continues. Had we kept the heat on from the beginning the task would have been much simpler. Now one of the major problems we will experience is the identification of friend or foe. The Obama administration deceived the American public for political gain during the election cycle by insisting that our enemies were knocked back on there heels. This was far from the truth, as we backed down they expanded there territory, resources and modified there tactics. If we arm certain factions and not others who is to say we are in fact arming the enemy of radicle Islam and not the defenders of freedom? I am no military strategist but my take on this, as unsavory as it is, boots on the ground. Our enemy is in fact an enemy which will blend into the civilian community as we have seen in the past. Human shields will be used to defer our battle strategy and the deaths of innocent civilians well be used to further there cause.
