Well this issue has raised its ugly head once again. We all know what bootleg recordings are, right. Well there is another illegal recording called pass off, meaning someone is attempting to pass themselves as someone that they are not. There have been several pass off recordings released in Europe over the years and some have made their way to the US via mail order outlets. If you ever see a Steppenwolf CD with any of the following songs on them, its a pass off, not Steppenwolf at all. If you own one of these CDs we suggest you return it from where it came and DEMAND a refund. Thats the only way to stop it. The songs to look out for on the pass off Cds are: Three Stripes, The Paymaster, Back Home, Medley: What would you do and Medley: America. Take care and beware!
