Well, today was an adventure, thats for sure -- and thats possibly an understatement. We left the Sacramento area headed for San Francisco unsure of where we were staying tonight as well as the next few nights after this. I successfully navigated the hills of downtown SF in a minivan with less than 4 inches of clearance between the trailer hitch and the ground, pulling our tiny camper which suddenly felt 10 times bigger to the sounds of honking horns and solo-finger salutes to drop Cami off for her show and then taking the kids to see the Golden Gate Bridge while we waited for her. Then we went back through the mess to pick her up again when she was done and got out of town as fast as possible. With the amazing help of our awesome Facebook community it looks like weve got options for places to stay while were in the Central Coast area as well as some possibilities for when we get down to LA. Im sure this was just the first of many experiences like this that well encounter on this trip, but Im happy to be in a tiny motel for the night where weve exceeded the maximum occupants for our room, had to sneak the kids in like immigrants crossing the border, and where Ill no doubt be sharing our bed with one if not more of the aforementioned kids. Life is crazy, our friends are amazing, and God is good. Thanks to everyone who contacted friends and family on our behalf and even helped research possible places for us to stay. I am deeply humbled and immensely blessed. Thank you!
