Well today was another threshold in this life path. My 62nd birthday, as much as I just wanted to ignore it! It started off with my sister Drue Breaux calling me to remind me of the day. Then my neice Kay Breaux Emmert posted it on facebook. My sisters from church reminded me at lunch with cake, birthday horns, cards and gifts. Elaine Oldbury, Tina Praesel, Sharon Turner, Karen Egulf and Thelma How blessed I am! Then Jos and Paula Tacker brought me a over sized helium happy face that will remind me for several days that I am now of Social Security age! My sweetheart bought me new volleyball shoes (that he swears Kayla will want when she sees) and a cute top to match. My Godmother and Godchild Debbie Verret gave me two gift bag of goodies which included these lovely chicken place mats! I love them. Thanks Molly Eppler, Chris, Graham and Cort for my sweet smell ums and the precious cards! Birthday wishes from church, facebook and by phone continued to make this day even better. Thanks all of you for making this lady feel important!
