Well, we could use some prayers...heres a pic of Toby several weeks ago in the ER (thank you morphine! - the pain was extreme for weeks but is so much better now!) and we still dont have a definitive answer to explain the weakness and pain in his shoulder, left arm and numbness in both wrists and hands and shooting pains through his hips off and on and most joints. As a double whammy, he (and a friend) were diagnosed with hepatitis (nondescript type, not contagious - nauseated for weeks and fever) on the same day, two weeks after eating lunch out. All that happened, coincidentally, at the same time. He still cant taste much and most food and drinks still make him feel yucky. His blood pressure shot up and stayed up for weeks but is normal now. Hes had three MRIs and 5 different doctors, and we did discover two herniated disks near his neck. He has a great neurologist, an orthopedist, a spine doctor, a doctor who specializes in homeopathy and our awesome family doctor all working together to figure him out. Hes going in for nerve testing (painful...) Thursday. We dont need anything, hes feeling better, but just pray we can avoid surgery, figure out what caused all this and that he can start feeling normal again! So Im resorting to posting from my phone!!
