Well we finally got our dexcom and did the first sensor insertion...whew every time I learn how to puncture my child with a sharp object it takes 10 years off my life! She did great and I will start up the receiver, wait 2 hours for it to set up, and calibrate after she goes to bed. She didnt want to wait until tomorrow! So thankful to have another tool to help us manage this disease! Now my child is a bit like a robot and has more $ in medical devices inserted into her little body than I could ever imagine...but thankful for the technology!
