Well we just got home from a long weekend on Wednesday we found out that Rays cousin had stopped dialysis and refused meds so by the time Ray got home we were packed and ready to go. When we saw PaulWicks on Thursday we were surprised to find that he looked good was eating good (all but a whole 6 inch sub and a cookie) and was rejoicing at his trip to be with Jesus. It has been a while since he was doing so well. But by Friday he was back to the old Paul of late back to barely talking (it causes too much pain to talk) he was in a lot of pain period and the rest of the week he saw lots of friends and family but it was breaking my heart. We enjoyed hearing all his visitors telling stories about Paul in their lives (he has truly touched a lot of lives) but as the days passed it became harder and harder to stay positive (Jean Ann I dont know how you do it) but we really enjoyed watching him smile as each visit occurred. As today drew closer we started dreading our departure. Fearing our loss to come. Paul has become very important in our lives and we are truly going to miss him, and thinking about the time when he will no longer be in our lives makes us very sad. Paul Wicks we love you and miss you already we really hated to leave but we know God is watching over you and that soon you will be in heaven with him. The world will truly miss you and so will Ray and I we love you Paul Wicks
