Welp, my wife and I are moving to Pine Hills from MetroWest in less than 1 month. I bought a condo there 10 years ago that I have rented out now. I just bought another for Jen and I. Its safer, cleaner, and the HOA is worlds ahead of anything in MetroWest as far as condition of property and finances goes. Condo worth about 25,000, but I got it for 18,000 and with tile installation, a few minor repairs, and closing costs will have 21,000 in it. Silver Pines Golf Village has a high number of owner occupants and many of them are snowbirds, the ones that live there full time are obsessed with keeping it clean and well maintained and I know of no complex in better financial shape after redoing pools,pool decks, new roof, remodeled clubhouse, resurfaced parking lot all within the last few years. Next up to paint, it was last painted 8 years ago. This 104 condo complex with a budget of 250,000 is in much better shape than my current location with 1,250,000 budget, and has more in reserve funds after all the improvements too.
