Went down to Cobden to the Purhepecha Festival yesterday. The Migrant Club Cheran hosted it. Mariachi bands and folk dances in their beautiful costumes. Ate at the Yellow Moon Cafe, and a ham, apple/apricot butter, melted brie cheese and almonds on toasted sour dough bread...delicious. (had a ham). Then an art gallery and gift shop. For a tiny town, this was great. Didnt go thru the four other antique/ gift shops. We have peach and apple orchids down here, and grapes for our famous wine trail! Probably more than a dozen wineries, with bands playing on the weekends. Tomorrow I head for Chicago for a few days!
