Went for a lovely long walk today with Ruairí sitting in the buggy and Caoimhín standing on the step at the back. Eventually got from St. Pauls National School to St. Nessans and then a quick drop into the Centra for refreshment (I needed it ), went on again crossed the road entrance to Centra and S**T Buggy broke ! The handle that clicks into the cradle from the bar at the seat was not staying where it was ment to be. Luckily Brendan had not left for work yet so he got the SOS call come collect us at the SouthCourt. I blame all the bl**dy footpaths, God help anyone in a wheelchair, the majority of footpaths I took had NO dips to make it easy to get off and back on. My daily walk to school consists of 2 diped footpaths and 5 what feels like big steps to get a buggy up onto. It is okay when one child is willing to walk but when I have the 2 of them and the buggy board on the back is hard but it does not help the second road I have to cross I have to veer onto the road a bit to get the lowest level of the footpath and that is still at least 7 inches high. Aaah rant over happy now until the walk to school tomorrow with the spare buggy. If you pass me looking like I am talking to the boys I will let you know now I will be praying the buddy board stays put !!
