Went out dinner with my Sg and KL team in old Klang road. Upon - TopicsExpress

Went out dinner with my Sg and KL team in old Klang road. Upon arriving (we traveled in 2 cars), some team members already seated at a given table. Immediately, when I took my seat, the table feel taller than the usual height due to the uneven ground. Everyone somehow feel the seating height is rather awkward from their feedback. After less than a minute, I could not accept it. I proceed to pull an addition chair from the next table and stack up onto mine to make the seat higher. It works very well. Upon seeing this, the rest of the team members did the same. I felt amused and asked why didnt they do it first? One replied with a smile, We are early adopter. How about me then? I asked. You are a pioneer! Everyone laughed. Got to love my team. 3 Key lessons; 1. If you cant change yourself to suit the environment, change the environment to suit you. 2. Never accept the status quo just because most accepted it. 3. New method or strategy requires no permission from no one. Just do it until someone give you a feedback for correction.
