Went to check out a new book based on a book blog fb page recommendation. Googling the title, I clicked on a Goodreads link to find out more about the book. Instead of opening Goodreads to reviews, author page, etc like I expected, it immediately downloaded the pdf of the book. Not expecting a free gift I decided to check out Amazon just to be sure the book was free. The book is NOT free - its $3.99 for the ebook. What did I do? I deleted the pdf, I found the authors fb page and notified her in a message along with the link. If she replies that the link is valid and its a freebie with her blessing then Ill click on the link again and read it. If not, then Ill purchase the book through Amazon or B&N so the author is paid. Piracy is a crime!
