Went to see Cindy today. Yesterday she was not following commands - TopicsExpress

Went to see Cindy today. Yesterday she was not following commands & was having trouble breathing when weened on the vent. But today, was following commands! She was able to squeeze my hand & acknowledged she recognized Pastor Jane. She was able to breathe 2 1/2 hours with minimal help with the vent. Doctors that are treating Cindy are the doctors she works for. They are wonderful. Dr. Ward said his main concern now is that she does not developed a blod clot, which she is prone to get. Concerned with the large amount of secretions that is being produce from her lungs & that they may have to put a trache on her. If so, she would have to be placed in a rehab home specifically for trache patients. There is one in Asheville & one in Greenville, SC. She would have to stay as long as she needs the trache. Hopefully she will not have to have this. Her lung X-Ray was a smidge better than yesterday. So that is promising. Today is a bittersweet day. Many of you know that Cathy passed away 2 years ago today. Cindy has had a very difficult time with her passing. I was worried how this day would be for her. At least she did not have to have that on her mind today. Please keep the prayers going up! Today was proof that God hears them! Love to all.
