Went to see my Uncle tonight at Ridgecrest. Unhappy to find that there is just one CN and one RN to 13 patients. He was upset because he has to put on his light to have assistance to the bathroom and sometimes it takes more than half an hour for them to come. I went looking tonight to find out what was taking so long. Saw his light outside the room was on but not blinking. Asked why. It doesnt blink urgent for at least 15 to 20 minutes. How long can you wait when you have to pee and how will you feel when you can wait no longer and pee your pants where you sit. WTF. Severely under staffed. I will be making a lot of noise tomorrow during office hours!
