Went to see the tour of Priscilla Queen of the desert ...WOW what an amazing show !! Glad they had much of the london cast .. quality talent! and most of the sets which look fantastic ..even the suspended weather girls opener ..we were up screaming with pure pleasure after just 5 minutes ...its sooo nice when a touring show makes the same effort as the london version despite dragging huge ...really huge ..sets around and all those costumes ..Its just finished in Hull and moving on ...many lorries outside the new theatre right now a very busy night ahead for the tech guys shifting that beast of a show...We were blown away by the sets/staging/music costumes singing dancing before your eyes instant costume changes and true talent ...I love Jason Donovan but not having him in the cast was great as the guy taking that part had a beautiful and powerful voice not something our Jason can boast about ..but the Bernadette and Felisha are london cast and have the energy of the performance energy of the national grid .. if its coming to a theatre near you go for it ..it really is THE west end version first time out ..another tour may not give this much so dont miss it ..my only mistake was not going twice whilst it was here ...the website (Priscilla Queen of desert tour 2013) has the cast and the tour dates ..its not hype like some shows... this is the real thing...you will be swinging your manbags and loving the guys with a cock in a frock on a rock ....btw they DO have the bus in full pink glory rotating on the stage !!!! I want to go again .......now!
