Went to the bank to get the monies needed for my travels to Seattle and what do I find on the ground but an envelope containing $500 in various bill denominations. Now immediately I think how this can truly help me out, especially with the current plight of my laptop but then the invisible angel and devil appear on each one of my shoulders. Knowing how well this money can change things for me I also realize how much it will change things for the person who lost it....so I bring it into the bank and do the right thing. As I get my change of ones for the bus this elderly lady whos obviously distressed comes in trembling and asks about the money. The clerk gives her the envelope as she knows exactly how much is in it and points to me for being the Good Samaritan. The lady kisses me on the cheek and says,Bless you for being honest, especially in this town I laugh and wish her a good day.
