Went to the doctor for my physical yesterday. She said she was referring me for a bone density scan. Then she gave me the info so I could make an appointment for my mammogram. Phone rings today and I notice on caller ID that it is from the Breast Imaging Center(the place she told me to call to make appointment). They said they were calling to schedule my bone density test. When I said that I needed to make the appointment for a mammogram also they asked why the doctor didnt tell them I needed both. Anyway....Im getting both done in one appointment. They asked when the last tests were done and where and I told them just like I told the doctor that my OB/GYN did them 2 yrs ago at his office because he has all the equipment and lab facilities there. So now all I have to go to the OB/GYN for is my Pap Smear. Just seems strange that I couldnt have all 3 procedures done when I go to see him. Guess since hes not part of the Cone umbrella they dont want to acknowledge him.
