Went to the farm this evening, and went down to the family lake to look for some logs to cut for a project. Was very sad to see my once beautiful childhood hangout all dry and full of weeds, trees, and grasses, as well as the camping area overgrown and filled with fallen, dead trees. On the positive side, it was nice to sit and listen to the rustle of the leaves in the breeze, and hear the crickets chirping while remembering the good times spent there among family and friends!
