Went to the movies. Felt great. Came home, started feeling flu-like again. Achey! Although I am the biggest believer that distraction helps pain, there are still times when I go out or do something and the pain attacks me. Usually it happens when I am doing something I dont want to do or when I cant handle sounds or smells. Then...put me in a situation where I actually enjoy what Im doing and suddenly my pain drops. I think its because it literally doesnt matter what level of stress I am at, no amount of stress, even a little is tolerable for someone with fibro. It has to be my biggest trigger for pain. But if I am fully emersed in something that can only bring me joy, its like a flood of endorphins. And ohhhhh do I live with a lot of stress. Personal reasons I cannot discuss publicly of course. But now I just wish I could live at the movie theater lol. Maybe The Hunger Games Catching Fire is the cure to fibro. Haha I wish! Hey, it was an awesome movie by the way. ;) now Im off to bed. This nausea is a bee eye tee see a-ch! Love yawl! Try to do something that YOU love to make yourself feel a little better. You deserve it. Even if it doesnt happen all the time we will certainly appreciate the little moments. ♥ Haullie
