Went to the pain management specialist this morning and FINALLY got answers and am on the road to recovery with my herniated disc/pinched nerve situation. 4 weeks of physical therapy and a few epidurals and I should be good as new. It was such a relief to be taken seriously by this doc. He answered all my questions, heard me out on all my concerns, offered insight on my MRI which I didnt get from my primary care doctor, and developed a recovery plan that worked with me and my pain level. He didnt just write an RX and move onto the next patient. And when I told him I wanted to be conservative with the medication, he revised his initial plan so that I could be pain free in an alternative way (aka not eating painkillers all day long). I cant tell you how good I feel now that I have answers. What a huge relief. Finally.
