Were back home. Mom was laid to rest today. This morning saying goodbye to her in the funeral home was the hardest part for me over these past six days. But I know her suffering is over and her miraculous survival of the brain aneurysm on 11/1/2012 gave us two extra years to care for her and shoe her our love for her. It will be a tremendous void in our earthly life bur hopefully a substantial spiritual presence in my heart and memories. That said, I need to say good news which some of you may know but many do not. Jenny and I are proudly expecting our first child, due July 10! To tie this in with mom, first I am happy to tell you all that she knew about the pregnancy and was very happy. Second, my parents in heaven will certainly be part of our lives and our future child (ren)S lives in a spiritual guidance and remembrance sort of way. I feel my parents have given me the upbringing and the tools to succeed in the rest of my life as a person, husband and father, and I pledge to use such tools, knowledge and love wisely. Its up to me now, and I proudly accept these challenges and responsibilities. I love and miss you Mom and Dad.
