Arguments Against Josephine County Measures: 17.53 - Solid Waste Ordinance 2013-002 17.54 - Code Enforcement Officer Ordinance 2013-003 17.55 - Hearings Officer Ordinance 2013-004 17.56 - Environmental Health Enforcement Ordinance 2013-005 * Allows warrentless searches of private property * Allows unreasonable fines, jail time, confiscation of property without ordinary due process * Harms poorest citizens most * Allows anyone to harass Josephine County Citizens. * Claims to apply only to rural. However, sneaky verbage extends it to entire county later. Hidden in the many words in these 4 measures is the creation of a new, expensive and unaccountable bureaucracy in Josephine County with numerous new rules to be enforced. Bureaucrats will be empowered to search our homes without legal warrants, levy huge fines, and even seize our property. Our only recourse is through hearings before these very same bureaucrats under arbitrary rules they set. These Hearings Officers whose true powers will exceed our sheriff and courts shall first harass our poorest citizens because they are more vulnerable and less able to resist. If these measures pass and the abuses are forthcoming. I personally pledge to stick my own neck out in creating educational web pages to educate poor citizens of their constitutional rights and the use of such legal vehicles as writs of mandamus and in forma pauperi to compel superior government bodies to put a stop to these abuses of power and prosecute perpetrators committing constitutional violations while acting under color of authority pursuant to Oregon and federal Laws on the matter. w4acg/w4acg.html
