Were hiring! Palo Alto Networks is looking for a brilliant ant talented Performance Expert. Responsibilities • Design requirements for performance test plan. Define the performance scenarios based on use cases and inputs provided by QA, System Engineers and Product Management • Design and implement overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and custom developed software • Independently gather, calculate, evaluate and analyze performance results and prepare standard and ad-hoc reports for internal and external audiences • Verifies accuracy of portfolio and benchmark performance results and monitors performance trends • Create requirements & deploy simulators for performance, stability & benchmark testing • Coordinate with architects, project managers and tech leads in designing and implementing holistic performance test strategy for complete coverage of product testing • Report performance issues within all product layers (Client, Server and Database) including 3rd party integration Required Qualifications • Academic degree(s) in Computer Science or equivalent • 3+ years of performance engineering experience - performance & benchmark testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization on large scale enterprise systems • Ability to summarizing large amount of metrics into meaningful graphs and reports • Experience with a variety of performance related tools and understanding performance KPIs of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization • Experience with both Endpoint and Server application testing • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments on all its variants • Security background – an advantage • Knowledge of IT strategy and architectural standard - an advantage • Experience with programming / scripting languages – an advantage • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English • Candidate should also possess the ability to work under pressure with extreme deadlines, prioritize projects, and maintain focus and a sense of humor Please send the CV to: abar@paloaltonetworks
