Were in the mountains of Sevierville, TN. We are in the cutest log cabin. Its chili up here! First thing... We didnt die trying to get up the mountain to the cabin! We laughed at Mama... We had done a bit of musical cars :) swapping from here to there! While going up the mountain... Mike & Jeanita (Mike driving) were full speed ahead!!! Mama said, Im glad Im not in there with that nut! Ha ha It took us a while last night to get situated, but now... were good! Everybody was everywhere! Mike threw a monkey wrench in the whole deal when his bedroom didnt have a ceiling fan!!!! So... Long story short! He pulled out the sleeper sofa.... and I wanted the queen air bed I brought! Jeanita sleeps like a Kung-fu fighter; so she was on the roof! :) Marianne in a bedroom alone. Mama & Daddy in their room. So Mike ends up in the den with me. Which was great! We used to travel together a lot singing...and its been a while. We had the TV on... Gospel music, reminiscing about stuff only we know about. Could we ever share some stories! Just brother & sister...funny stuff... before I got hitched! :) I sorta messed up everything! :) The name of this cabin is Precious Memories. What a fitting name.... Im thankful for little stuff. Im sorta messed up! I laugh a lot... I cry just as quick. Blessing & thankfulness run down my cheeks. Life is good & bad. Ya have good runs... then some rough spots along the way. It takes it all. Its all molding us & creating memories that make us who & what we are. Learn from it all. Leave the anger & bitterness aside thats picked up along the way from the crazy stuff others do, or things we do to ourselves. Never pick up pride...and thank & trust God through it all. Its Easter tomorrow. In the morning well have a little family singing...a SHORT :) message from Mike...and well be crying again. If ya dont get it? I cant explain it. I wrote a little song years ago. Normally other folks sing it... Im gonna post it under this post with me singing it. Jeanita put this on YouTube. Its very appropriate for Easter.
