Were so very proud of the 8 ebullient, creative, and dedicated students in our Natural Resources Summer Bridge Program! These 8 local high school students spent their summer in a science-oriented college prep program, in which they took math, writing and forestry courses at Southwestern Oregon Community college (SWOCC) and interned with Coos Watershed Association on Fridays. If you have time this Thursday, August 14th, from 4-5 pm, come to the program closing ceremony to help us celebrate our students hard work! Students will give four small presentations on what theyve learned over the last 8 weeks in the program; graduation ceremony and reception to follow. Go to Eden 1 on the SWOCC campus.
