Were still on this journey and grateful for the experience. We thought we had learned a lot in the process leading us up to this, but this fundraiser has been a learning experience ALL of its own! Who knew?! Thank you to everyone that has helped in all the different ways that they have. Today weve really got a good vibe going and we feel good things coming. We are excited about the little place well get for ourselves and for visits with our kids and visits with friends. Weve been talking about how simple, yet perfect, it will be. We are so grateful to everyone who has let us stay in their spaces over the course of this last year and all the people that we met along the way. All the opportunities to assist others and to push ourselves to become even truer versions of ourselves and better servants to humanity have been the biggest blessings. I dont believe this path we took is meant for everyone, but we encourage everyone to let down their guard, go explore and talk to people you would normally pass by. Talk to people that look sad or lost and throw a random compliment their way or offer a listening ear. We urge you to love others, help others, admire others, and do so without judgement because their path and circumstances are never anything you can say you truly know or understand. We request that everyone look at what they can do to further make this a better place because we ALL have the ability to heal a wound in someones life if were willing to do so. We believe in you. We believe in us. Were so excited for the moment of the arrival of our vision. Its a modest, but beautiful one and we have so much more to offer and give others when we have our little safe haven. Thank you, thank you thank you thank you. Please dont forget that the simple act of sharing this helps us and were just as grateful for that as every single dollar that comes in to help us get closer and closer to the goal of our worthy and sustainable vision of a home together to share with others.
