Were you or an immediate family member (spouse, parent, sibling, child) emotionally or physically harmed by the 1998 US Embassy bombing at Nairobi or Dar Es Salaam? If so, the United States court case Aliganga v. Republic of Sudan, et al recently awarded compensation of up to $10 million to victims of the bombings and their spouses and/or parents, siblings, and children. New claims may be filed until 15 December 2014. To be eligible for compensation, the victim must have 1) experienced physical or emotional harm from the bombings and 2) been employed by the US Embassy, US government, or US government contractor at the time, or be an immediate family member (spouse, parent, sibling, or child) of a victim who was.
