Weslaco police are searching for a man who broke into two different cars. The first burglary happened on April 2 at the Weslaco City Park. The second happened April 9 on the 400 block of South Kansas. The thief stole a red Coach purse, a red tote bag, personal identification documents, a cosmetics bag and cash. The suspect is described as a heavyset man with a beard. He was reportedly driving a Chrysler 300 with paper license plates.
