West wind early and producing clean conditions on most beaches. Swell is only small and from the south. Most beaches are flat. Looks like a great day for the micro grommet and beginner. Head to the northern corners and open beaches for a rideable waves today as these beaches are attracting a few small waves. A ridge of high pressure across northern New South Wales is weakening, while a series of cold fronts are moving across the Southern Ocean towards southeast Australia. This pattern is expected to generate a vigorous westerly airstream over southern and central parts of the New South Wales coast from Tuesday onwards. A stronger cold front is expected sweep across the region at the end of the week, after which winds should gradually ease as the next high pressure system becomes established. Winds: Northwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning north to northeasterly below 10 knots in the early afternoon then tending north to northwesterly 10 to 15 knots in the evening. Seas: Around 1 metre. Swell: Southeast to southwesterly below 1 metre. coastalwatch/surf-cams-surf-reports/nsw/port-macquarie
