WestPacWx-wise: Heres the latest | Daily Satellite Analysis for 13Z on the 12th of November 2014. Just about we thought the month of November should see some wx action wed like to welcome a much quieter period in the next few days with only seasonal passage of series of Frontal systems especially for Northern Hokkaido via the Sea of Japan. This should bring some cold and blustery conditions for the region in the next 24h with some odd showers too, and some snowfall accumulation in higher elevations. Temp-wise, milder conditions over much of Kanto region, and freezing temps to the Northeast of Japan and seas should be rough too with some Sea effect snow blowing from mainland East Asia. Much of the Korean Peninsula should also see some clear to cloudy periods and cooler winds prevailing from the Chinese mainland with the continuing surge of the Northeast Monsoon. Further down South, Eastern coast and Southernmost China regions should also see some showers but nothing significant so far, with temps also in the teens and slightly warmer over the Taiwan Strait and well over much of Luzon in the Philippines. The rest of the archipelago should expect some drier conditions and blustery wind conditions associated with the Northeast Monsoon. There will be some light showers and at times heavy along the Eastern sections of Visayas and Northern and Central Mindanao regions with the influences of a trough of Low lingering over the East Philippine Sea. The system is however not expected to intensify into a mere Tropical system at this time but the energy from said system should bring some unstable wx, but nothing significant whatsoever. Marine activity I would suggest should remain vigilant to moderate swells prevalent during this time of year but in general, nice, hot and windy wx should prevail. Over into IndoChina and the Malay Peninsula, some sharp rainfall associated with a trough of Low persisting over South of Vietnam, while some thunderstorms too in store over the Indonesian archipelago, same with Papua with some thundery showers. In all, quiet. Hope this stays for long. As always, keep safe and enjoy the midweek. @weatherguyadonzbitly/Pu2Sj8 Source: on.fb.me/1uiDl1Q For more weather updates please visit PANAHON BLOG at weatherngayon.wordpress
