Jennifer and Pablo visited Sculpture in the Vineyards yesterday and were taken with the work of Freya Jobbins. Freya, is an Australian based sculptor (she also makes prints). With an interest in consumerism and the up-cycling/recycling culture (and a nod to Milanese painter Guiseppe Arcimboldo) Freya makes portrait and bust assemblages from discarded children’s toys.
