Weve had a restful week trying to feel better. AJ had his orthopedic appointment yesterday. He has spasticity in his left lower leg/ ankle which we already knew. He has to now wear his afo 24/7 except for bath time and pray hes not going to need Surgery. His left wrist/ hand also is at risk for needing surgery. Hes getting sized for a splint next week. Were also going to do Botox in the near future. His hips looked good, but his left hip is getting pulled up into the joint with his tightening muscles. Were going to follow up in 6 months but as of now his doctor doesnt think it needs surgery. We need to continue stretching and massaging him.
