We’re pleased to present the first in a series of “how-to” videos and blog posts for parents and caregivers of children with learning disabilities. This first lesson explains how to use visuals to communicate more effectively with your child. Visual strategies are just one of a number of specific techniques that Ramapo teaches to parents and caregivers in our training sessions. Visuals can be used with any child to help them perform daily tasks and routines, follow rules and understand expectations; and are especially beneficial for children who have learning differences.
