What Im doing right now: Busy training & getting dogs ready for adoption! Socializing large groups of dogs is a lot of work, but is a wonderful bonus for the adopter who wants to be social with their dogs. You will see newly rescued Axel in there, he is wearing a basket muzzle. Keeping everyone safe is very important. He lived at an animal control since he was a young puppy. Never had been socialized & has dog aggression & resource guarding that is diminishing by the day with training. Basket muzzles are a very humane way of training for the dog can, eat, drink & breathe. He just cant open his mouth wide enough to inflict harm. Animals only know what we teach them, so training & socializing is in their best interests. Many of the dogs in my graduation yard as I call it, have approved Adopters & homes already waiting till they finish their training.
