What Is Our Reputation? 2Chronicles. 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him….. The Lord is looking for people who are committed to His Word above all. The Hand of God is strong the bible says for those whose “heart” not mind is loyal to Him. God is raising up a people at this time that He is going to use in a powerful way. A people who will spread the name of our God and release the fear of God once again. The children of Israel had a reputation. Their reputation was not that they were the biggest or strongest. It was not that they had the greatest most skilled warriors. No, their reputation was that they had a God who would fight for them. This reputation that preceded them was not what they said about themselves but what others said about them. The other nations heard about these people who had an almighty God who was on their side. This reputation went before them. It struck the fear of this almighty God into the hearts of all the nations. Now fast forward to the church today. What is our reputation? Are we not the children of the living God? So what has happened to our reputation and even greater what has happened to the fear of God? Do we fear God or do we fear man? Has a hyper grace message interfered with the fear of our great God? It was the fear of the Lord that made a great name for the children of Israel and my friends it will be the fear of God once again that will make His name great once more. It is time that we shake off the fear of man and humble ourselves before the hand of almighty God. Its revival time!
