What Karna wanted to teach us? He wanted to teach us that : Do not be too much ambitious, if you have talent, do not be proud of it. Surrender yourself to God, you will be happy Do we follow this? NO, we dont. He didnt want us to suffer the way he suffered throughout his life. But we didnt actually learn what he tried to teach us. Instead, we keep quarreling. Now lets see why he suffered? The Circle of life worked for him. Last birth as a demon king he tortured so many innocent people. His name was Sahastra-kavach. He got boon from Lord Shiva, he also had thousand heads. To save innocent people Nara and Narayana arrived. Nara destroyed 999 heads and 999 kavach. He had only one Kavach and one head. Then he escaped and took the shelter of Surya. Next birth he took rebirth as Karna, and Nara as Arjuna. In his next birth as Karna, he made too many mistakes. He killed a cow, after that he enraged Bhumidevi. So he got too many curses. No book can deny that Karna was ambitious from the beginning and he couldnt discriminate what is good and what is bad. But after that what happened? He met Sri Krishna, and he realized his mistakes. Lord Krishna brought enormous change to his character. Drastic change! Lord Krishna literally transformed him to a perfect Human being from a demon. Then he repented, he repented a lot. He cried so much that the earth also cried with him. Yes he wanted to have a fight with Arjun, but he respected him also. for Arjuns heroism, his unmovable devotion to Sri Krishna moved Karna and he respected him. Arjun also repected Karna for his charity. So, we can understand, there was no personal clash between Karn and Arjun. But what we do? we abuse each other, we throw offensive language.... Did Karna want this? No never... Karna never wanted this. The million dollar truth is that.... If you really understand Karna - you will never abuse anybody. And, If you really understand Arjuna - you will never argue with anybody....
