What Police Have To Deal With. ...During this Christmas Season remember there are men and women in uniform and in plain clothes who are not with their families because they are on the streets protecting yours. Their earning potential is set and will never be great, only hardly adequate. Their retirement, should they make it all the way there wont be enough. But, with an understanding of right and wrong and a spirit to serve they place their life on the line everyday. It is the everyday that makes their life so dangerous. Almost anyone can be Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer, special Agent, Or Trooper on a good day. It is the EVERYDAY that separates the wheat from the chaff. It is the everyday that makes that One Day the day their family prays will never come. Thats the day the Angel of Death passes by. On that day their faith is tested, their hundreds of prayers and that of their loved ones are weighed and their relationship with their Savior is revealed. Then God decides. Every law enforcement officer understands with everyday there lurks that One Day when it all could end just because they went to work on the One Day. Law Enforcement Officer are essential in our lives today more than ever in our history. Without them even the criminals wouldnt be safe.
