What Wilson said: So grateful for a good weekend! Praise the Lord, it has been a good weekend all-around! First, we were blessed with two outstanding meals from sweet friends, which I was so happy to be able to enjoy, since I have not had much trouble with nausea so far! Secondly, I have not had any bone pain from the neulasta shot either! Thank you, God! I have been tired but still was able to get out and run a few errands on Saturday and even took a walk with my mom on this gorgeous afternoon after we pulled out the rest of the plants from my garden! Brent and Brandon have been in Rocky Mount this weekend as the Thunder Stixx played in their last tournament of the year. They had a great run, winning both games they played yesterday and then two again today to make it into the championship game of the 22 team tournament! After a hard-fought battle, they lost in the finals 6-2. As you can see from the picture, the boys wore pink socks and ribbons on their hats in my honor. So sweet!! How I love this team and was sad to not be able to be there in person! We would greatly appreciate your continued prayers for minimal side effects and protection from illness as my immune system is compromised from the chemo. Avery seems to have picked up a cold this weekend, so this is particularly important right now! Thanks so much for your continued support and I hope you enjoy this Psalm...one of my favorites!
