What Would You Call It, Love or Stupidity. Jack fell in love with Rachael during his course program, they were both into it 2gether, Jack was in his 3rd yr while Rachael was in her 2nd yr. They both love each other, Rachael though of get of married to him after their program but Jack opposed the motion, by telling her that, it wont be that proper, that they both need to established themselves before such could happen. After their program, they were very much in love with each other, as the day passes the bonds between seems to stronger than before along the line something happened, Jack was studying structural engineering while Rachael was a medics. Fortunately, Jack was got his first contract, so everything seems as right as rain. Jack had asked Rachael to come and live with him and she had accepted it. Rachael was yet to be employed so she depended on her fiancé. Jack signed his second contract that he though he would use it to pay the dowry of Rachael, but he has missed calculated the weight of d structure, this led to the collapsing of the building. Jack was fired for miscalculating, the owner of the building sue him to court. At the law court, it demanded that he (Jack) should build the house for the owner, Jack had accepted. This moment was the most thoughest one for Jack, his world was crumbling, his struggles during the past years seems to be in vain, he was totaly in agony. Jack was in a mess, he told his fiance to go back to her parents so that he could sell his house, including the properties in it, then he went back to his parents. Things were so difficult with Jack, that he no longer remembered to care for his love, fighting the cancer or disease that has affected him was his main objective. Complimenting his woes was the departure of Rachael, she has stopped seeing him. When he had asked her, why shes no longer seeing him, she said that, she wasnt ready for such hardship, he was unable to cried, but he only told her that, irrespective of his suitation in life, that he will always love her, then he departed. Jack poured out all his years of investment into the building, after five years of hard labour, he was able to finish the building, he was so happy that he atlast he was through and free but one thing never made him happy, the absentness of Rachael. At the court, when Jack has gone to summit the procedure of the building as it was stated, the owner of the building decided to compensate him by paying half of the oringinal bill they had agreed upon. Jack was very excited. However, Jack has been looking for a new contract, people were scare of giving him contract, atlast one day he was given a bridge contract to finish within 1year, he was so excited with his contract, all the days of his life he has been thinking of Rachael, so with his current contract he was anticipating to win her back. One year later, Jack has completed the construction, he was so very happy, with his income from the contract he has bought a new house, well equip that his previous house, the next on his list was Rachael. His parents told him to forget about her but he never listned, when his friend laughs at him for being stupid, he would said that, he wasnt stupid but all he knows is that he Loves Rachael. Rachel was in her garden of her new apartment, when she heard a tap on the door, when she had answered the door it was Jack, she was suprised and she asked what he was doing in her house and who has given him the address of her house. Jack has only pleaded to her to let him in, but she refused. Jack was standing at the gate crying. After Jack has gone she started crying and blaming herself for being so hard to the man who she had once loved. She thought of apologising to him, but blushed the idea, after she had left Jack, she had had other men in her life but none of them was like Jack, she was unable to sleep, when ever she closes her eyes all that she could see was Jack. Jack had gone to his house, the new house seems bigger than it was before, every thing in his world seems to come to an end. The next morning Jack woke up as early as 4 oclock, before 8 oclock, he was at Rachaels house. Rachael wasnt expecting anybody, so she was so suprise when she heard a tap on her door at that time of the morning, when she answered the door, twas Jack, she was suprised once again. Jack broke into tears and she also joined him to cry, finally she open the gate, Jack knelt down the moment Rachael had made way for, took out a gold ring from his pocket, then he pop the question, shes stunned and dumpfounded, finally she spoke, i dont deserve you, Jack, i left you when you needed me mostly, i cant! Jack said to her, i told you that i will ever love you, take it, i give it to you from the bottom of my heart. She took the ring from him, and lifted him up, then both hug each other and shared their love and pains together. One year later they were happily married.
