What a MONUMENTAL night! Okay, I couldnt help myself, I was watching CNN on the couch until 1am to witness the election results and I couldnt be prouder of Florida. Rick Scott won by 80,000 votes and 1% of the statistical margin. Florida was 1% away from a vote against traditional marriage; 1% away from everyones taxes skyrocketing; 1% away from a fully-inducted Obamacare monstrosity; 1% away from a state income tax; and we defeated marijuana legalization. In tandem, the state is primed for a potential republican win in 2016.Weve at least forestalled these calamities for a future date; were all aware of criminal activist courts. Florida also voted for wild-life conservation, which Im a big proponent of, and the drug-addicts on marijuana didnt get their away, which means the roads will be safer for now from drunk and high drivers.
