What a Majestically poor service by Biman. We hear about Bimans poor service , but rarely experience them. Well got it first hand and the full version. How can one justify spending 14 hours for a 1 hour flight. Technical issues can arise, accidents can also happen but how you handle it leaves the last impression. Just take a look at the list. 1. Failing to inform that the flight is 5 hours late, forcing one to come to the airport so early 2. No notice on the counter, no message during check in, only to find after crossing the immigration, so you are now stuck at the airport for 6 hours. 3. Not mentioning that lunch is served somewhere, only who goes there are informed . 4. After the flight turned back to dhaka - not informing immediately that there will be no flight tonight. At 11 pm many people are sitting on the false news that there might be a flight at night or early morning - both wrong information. 5. Absolutely no clear cut information on what to do. The process was if one wants to cancel - give the passport to immigration office they will reverse the entry and off you go. It took them 2 hours to figure that out and another 2 hours to complete it. And simply think I was the lucky first group of 6- 7 among 135 passengers Once again failing to inform that they are serving dinner. Total complete chaos. Ground staff the front line who interacts with people has no clue how to handle an emergency. In the end it was so painful, so frustrating. All of us were hungry like a wolf - not leaving the place if some important info is given. And most important not coming out clean - boss no flight tonight tomorrow we leave at X. I heard 2 business men from India talking I had enough of Bangladesh . When are we going to get these right. Majestically angry and frustrated.
