What a beautiful day today. Treated the chickens to a romp in the yard after a long soak in the hot tub....watched Lewis Hamilton make his third win in a row on Formula1 (Love me some Lewis) and then watched Mariners, Yankees and cooked dinner. It was a quiet day with the pets, Sharlynn, Me and Stephen. Sent messages to my children.....talked to my Sis in Law by phone and had a nice quiet day. Cooked a lamb roast encrusted with fresh rosemary and garlic in a rub....then roasted garlic and made garlic mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. I love Easter. It is such a spiritual time of the year - a time to reflect on Gods promise and the resurrection. No expectations or frenzy. Oh, And my newest Grand Nephew , Common Jykkob Emil Torseth was born today....That was the topper to a fantastic day!
