What a beautiful weekend. My 94 year young Uncle Glen was here and our kiddos cant get enough of his WWII and mission field stories. He has gone non-stop and I think he has more energy than me. His love for God and his family reminds me so much of my daddy that I slipped up and called him Dad by mistake. Today our church had a Senior Talent Show and my sister Cheryl asked Uncle Glen if he was going to enter and preach since he was such a wonderful speaker? Oh no he said, if I were to enter I would get up there and say nothing for my biggest talent is being a good listener. He meant it to be funny but I think it is one of the many talents he is blessed with. There are so few of my parents generation left, we are lucky to have known them and blessed to have had them for parents and grandparents
