What a blessed Christmas celebration. We wound up having most of my side of the family at our house. We celebrated the birth of Jesus (the reason for the season) by taking communion together. Then we remembered my Mom by renewing our family covenant (to always be truthful and transparent with God and each other and to always be sweet and good to one another). Mom would be so proud. Also, because my sister Donna Barber has now shared about her sickness, I feel I can. No one knew how really sick she has been this week- but, by the grace of God and very aggressive treatment she is over the hump of double pneumonia! Thank you, JESUS and please keep her in your prayers!
